How to fix a computer that wont run windows?

I recently installed windows xp service pack 2 and all its security updates. when ask me to restart so i did. Now it wont run at all.

Black screen apears asking me do i want to run in safe mode..safe with network...etc

I tried them all and it keeps coming back to this screen?

What can i do..please help

No , right now the last update by microsoft , had some problems with the boot up sequence , but microsoft DOSENT tell that , now my advice if you havent any doc at all , just re-install xp . Now , try this too , go into the safe mode ( if its letting you ) and then go to control panel and open add-remove , there it should be the last update , just unistall it . Then just to be sure , do a system restore
