My computer has a virus called "Backdoor.Dssdoor.C". However, I cannot delete it or quaran

I use BitDefender Antivirus v10, which does a very good job as a security program. However, against this virus, it does not seem to do much! BitDefender DOES block it, yet that's all it can do. BitDefender cannot quarantine it, delete it, or disinfect it. I cannot delete it manually, either; doing so simply executes the virus, which BitDefender blocks, and I am back to square one - the virus/executable is still there!

How can I get rid of the virus!?

Backdoor.Dssdoor.C sometime ago i came across this it gets into Volume Information %26 thats in system restore, turn off system restore then do your scan then turn PC off then on %26 turn system restore back on, scan again %26 your see its gone.

Run your virus scan in Safe Mode. Reboot %26 as Windows starts, press F8 key repeatedly until Safe Mode starts. Then turn off System Restore %26 turn it back on. This will remove any restore points that it might be hiding in.

If that fails to remove it, try some of the online scans. If they can't remove it, they will give you instructions on how to do it.
