Come one, don't be so gullible. That鈥檚 just talk to tarnish Norton鈥檚 name. I have been using Norton since 2003, and every version after that one; I鈥檝e never had a problem with it.

I now use NIS 2007, and it runs real well, and uses very little resources compared to its predecessors.
yes but get norton 2008 its dosent use up as much resources as previous verison and it great virus detection but if ur and advanced computer person which i doubt no offense go for nod32 which is better than norton and mcaffe =p
if you want a good anti virus i heard advast is very good or you can go woth norton 2000 that is the best one to hope that helps you.
Had Norton, prefer Windows Live One Care. Cost a few dollars more but it makes sense to me that Microsoft would be more up to speed than the others.
What I've heard about Norton is that it gives virus somehow, I would suggest the Mcafee antivirus software, its good and never gives problems...
Yes. It is worth the money. I've been using NIS for 9 years and have never had any problem with it or the Internet. There is cheaper, there is slicker, and there is faster, but there is nothing better! Not for my money anyway. Best bet is the newest version of Norton Internet Security. pay now or pay later. norton is a great product. i dont hear of other companys putting out virus removal on the web to get ride of a virus
Norton 2003-2006 were huge resource hogs that would slow all but top-of-the-line machines down.
