Should I be worried about my computers security if I hane norton protection.?

If someone has hacked into my "yahoo" mail account and changed my password and sending messages from Nigeria.kawasaki

How do you know that someone "hacked" your Yahoo! Mail account? If you're basing your claim on undeliverable e-mails coming back into your inbox that you didn't personally send, you may not have a "hacking" problem at all.

Most people believe that their e-mail address can not be used by another person... but, in reality, there is nothing in the SMTP "rules" that confirm the e-mail address you're using is your e-mail address! There are some new practices being tried out across the internet to try to prevent people from using other people's e-mail addresses, but those only go so far.

It's likely someone found your e-mail address on a website somewhere, and decided to use it to send out spam e-mail addresses claiming to be someone from Nigeria. These types of identity theft scams have been around for years.

There's most-likely nothing wrong with your computer, nor has your Yahoo! account been compromised or "hacked". If you're worried about it, just change your Yahoo! password, and run an anti-virus and malware scan on your computer.

Sincerely, Anillag
