Is there anybody out there that actually likes Norton Internet Security?

I鈥檓 an IT guy of 10 years. For the past 6 I have own and operated my own computer company. My past few years experience with Norton has been terrible. I have finally come to the conclusion that you are better off installing a virus on your computer than any of the Norton products. Don鈥檛 get me wrong, that鈥檚 not a bias opinion. For more than 7 years I was an avid Norton AV user, but in the past 3 years, I have found nothing but grief with Symantec products. The most common problems I see for end users are: very slow performance, blocked access to internet or email, unable to uninstall and system crashes. I鈥檓 starting to wonder about Yahoo, now they are selling NIS on their download page. Norton = CRAP

I agree norton was the only way to go up until a few years back. But i dont like there newest versions either. Slow performance and system slowing as well as system crashes. Its pretty bad when you actually would like a company to go back to there old release and junk the new one

Good advice Bryan but the XP firewall is flawed. Get yourself a hardware firewall such as what's included in modern day routers. Report It
