Way overpriced! I like HP, you get bang for your buck. I bought a laptop with specs similar to these from HP 2 years ago and it cost me $1400, and that was 2 years ago! Plus I had 17" brightview widescreen high res, and DVD-RW.

I would not buy, but keep looking for better deals.

So it is a laptop right??? if so I would say a little on the high end if not a laptop WAY to high build your own if you need a desktop
Seems way too much to me. Try TigerDirect.com they have good sales and great prices. They have a laptop for $599 right now on sale. If ya want i can email you the ad they sent me and you can compare the two. Hope that helps ya.

I own a computer store in Scottsburg, IN. I sell laptops, desktops, hardware and much more daily. The laptop you are talking about is very overpriced. A laptop of those standards should be priced at around $500 - $700 depending on the brand. For $1,600 at my store you can get:

a Dell, Averatec, or Acer of the following Specs:

Core 2 Duo processor

2.5 GB DDR2 Ram

180 GB HDD

Windows Vista Home Premium

802.11 b/g

17" Widescreen Display

Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise Edition
too much for spartan memory and a slow chip. 60 Gig HD? fahgettaboutit.
to small hard drive for that kinda money, memory is good but i think its to much
