Does anyone know how to get rid of CA etrust internet security suite?

I've gone into add/remove program and it was on my list so I removed it. It is no longer listed there, yet it is still on my task bar and also still listed in my programs menu, also the CA file is still in my programs folder. I tried deleting it from the program file but it won;'t let me. I have also tried using Dr. Delete and that won't work either. I am at wits end and ready to throw this computer out of a window!!! LOL

Please help... It is a matter of computer life or death! (roflmao)

Don't kill your computor . There is an answer . I had that crap too and wanted to get rid of it . I did it but don't remember how I did it . But,,,You can contact CA eTrust and they will tell you how to do it . That's how I got rid of mine . Contact them . Good Luck .

Install it again, then uninstall it again. This time, use their uninstaller from the Start/Programs menu.

You can also boot to safe mode and delete the directory. Keep in mind that you might start getting errors indicating windows cannot find programs each time you start the computer. That takes cleaning of the registry which is a pain.
