Ok...so ive been trying to update my windows and the updates download but they will not install and then i went and tried to download Adobe Flash Player and it would not install.
Ive have already lowered all of the security standards internet exploror provides to make sure that activex can work and i dont know what else to do....i think it has something to do with ActiveX because the Windows Updates and Flash Player both require activex to have access.
Is there something im missing or anything i can do to?

ActiveX installers and updaters work exactly the same way as trojans get installed. Try turning off all anti-virus software and firewalls particularly.
