Some sites do not open sometimes on my computer even though they open on other computers.?

This has been happening ever since I took broadband connection. I have accessed these sites before through the same connection with no changes in OS. I tried enabling popups and changed my security settings. I even put these sites on trusted sites list but still I am unable to access them.

k well here we go:

1) Browse to Start -%26gt; All Programs -%26gt; Accessories

2) Right click "Notepad" and select "Run as administrator"

3) Click "Continue" on the UAC prompt

4) Click File -%26gt; Open

5) Browse to "C:\ Windows\ System32\ Drivers\ etc"

6) Change the file filter drop down box from "Text Documents (*.txt)" to "All Files (*.*)"

7) Select "hosts" and click "Open"

8) DELETE EVERYTHING IN IT and save changes
