Differences and similarities between local group and local security policy?aurora
A local group is a group of local user accounts that you can create on a computer. A local security policy is a local policy that defines user restrictions as compared to a group policy that would be normally be stored on a network server in Active Directory.
To edit the local security policy :
Click Start, click Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Local Security Policy.
If you would like to edit the security settings for file system, registry, and system services on the local computer, you must first edit the changes in the form of a security template and then configure the computer using Security Configuration and Analysis.
