Q5:

Thus occurred sad demise of my week's-struggle resume-effort, lost on this hard drive because I couldn't get into ANY identity (as you might expect by now, NO ID passwords).

SO I told puter to *hibernate* so I could turn it off, it asserting it would restore my session when I turned puter back on...

a lie....

Soooo, I ALSO need to know, what DOES Hybernate REALLY MEAN (is IT broken TOO, or does it not really do what it says even on NEW puter?), %26 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE has ANYONE FIGURED OUT how to GET TO my poor lost RESUME!?

Re security issues overall: I wish major institutions had a clue! I submitted an application to Van'tyWilt U %26 ___ folks in their HR REQUIRED one's SSN to even APPLY, asserting it was OK to give it since application was on SECURE SERVER! THEN these ___ SEND SSN BACK IN EMAIL TO YOUR UNSECURE EMAIL BOX AS YOUR SUPPOSED PASSWORD TO ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFO!!!

DESPERATE Q. for COMPUTER GEEKS, Part 5--PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU CAN DO SO WITH VIRTUAL COMPLETE CERTAINTY!!adware remover

HIBERNATION - It turns off your computer but saves your current status on the computer so that when you reboot all applications open will open up again the same as you left it before hibernation.

It will not run programs in this state as it saves the state to the hard drive then powers off.
