Best order to learn computer knowledge.?

As in what should i learn first and in what order. Like Software, netowrking, hardware, security, Operating systems, and so on

I have to disagree with the first two -- I think a foundation of hardware basics really helps with all of the other areas of study. Along the lines of the information covered by CompTIA A+ exam.

If you want to be an expert then you should become an electronics engineer. From that everything else flows.
I've been a computing student for the last 7 years. I'd recommend the following order:

Software, hardware, programming (if interested), operating systems, networking, security
operating systems%26gt;software%26gt;security%26gt;hardware%26gt;netwo...
I think all of the answers I've seen given are excellent so far, I'd just like to throw my 2cents in, and state that starting from hardware, for me, helped me relate better.(Obviously didn't teach me anything about sentence, or paragraph structure!)
If you want computer knowledge to me that means you should learn to program. I suggest Python as it is fairly easy to use and pretty cross platform. Also learn a little C++ and C at some point. You can start programming on Windows and then occasionally try it on Linux. You'll pick up the basics of networking and hardware along the way. Security is something all serious programmers should study. Often there are articles or blogs that suggest designs that deal with security. These are important to read every now and then and should be taken into consideration as you program. Don't try to be perfect as no security solution is. You'll get better with experience.
There is no real set order. It depends on what you want to learn first. A good place to start is by reading the I.T. magazines such as APC Mag, PC User ... many others out there. Also read forums where people can post technical questions and technical minded people answer. Look at what is asked and the solutions given and you learn that way.
