So I recently bought a WD external hard drive and I want to know if theres anyway I can password protect it or set it so other users of the PC cant gain access to my files and folders. And before you ask I am the administrator of my Computer.

You can setup access rights for every group of users. Right click on the drive symbol, click Properties and then Security settings.
But keep in mind, it works only as long as the drive is connected to that PC where you setup these access rights. If someone remove the drive from that PC and connect it to another one, all access restrictions are gone.
