Had this myself - sometime our virus programs %26 spyware programs delete things which upset our computers - cure - run scandisk.

How - click my computer right click C: then left click properties, then left click tools, then click now on error checking Dont tick any boxes just press Start - if it comes back that it failed then tick bottom box %26 click Start then click top box %26 click start.
