on your computer. What steps can I take to not get this message anymore? I use Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2. Thanks.

The first correct answer to rectify this problem will get the 10 points.

Constantly get this message: "Your security settings do not allow websites to use ActiveX controls installed.free antivirus

Are you able to click on the message and get a little menu that comes up so you can activate ActiveX controls? Usually when that happens for me, there is a little bar that displays the message right below the toolbar area. Hopefully this is what you are referring to. Hope it helps.

In IE: Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Security tab %26gt; Custom level button %26gt; Scroll down to active X controls and plug ins and check the value of 'Run active X controls and plugins' is Enable
try this first

open internet explorer...select tools at the top.u will see a new window..select the security tab...select reset to default
