Why do i keep getting security up-dates from apple?

i don't have an apple computer or any kind of apple program.....how would an up-date apply to me....???puzzled???

As answered in the previous post, Apple software doesn't mean it can only be for an Apple Computer. AIM, iTunes, Quicktime,and AOL Explorer Browser are just some examples of Apple software that is utilized on Apple and your Standard Windows based PC. I too have updates from my Apple Software Update program, even though i don't use those programs often, at least i know their safe to use.

Remember that updated versions have been updated for a reason and most of the time it's due to security vulnerabilities.

I'm guessing you have a Windows box. You might have some apple software in your Windows machine such as Quicktime (for video's - .MOV) or ITunes. Apple has an updater now which goes out to check for updates. This is a -good- thing. You want to keep your computer up to date.
