Computer might have been breeched?

I was on a trusted website when suddenly my siteadvisor turned red and the "PC cleaner" pop up came up. It says that you need to click it to install security software. I knew not to click it and ended the task immediately using the task manager, I never clicked the window. Am I infected? is there any risk?

run full system scan asap. then if it picks it up quarantine it, but be careful and check for any differences in normal operation. you are probably OK, but just don't do any online banking or whatever until your sure. what site though?

These are also called "ransomware" sometimes....

It sounds like you have a "drive by" installation by stealth. This sounds like a typical rouge fake program that is actually spyware itself. If you fill in any information to buy - your accounts will be maxxed within hours ! Don't touch it until removed .....
